1st day of school

Rileigh had her first day of school this week. She was so excited on her first day as you can tell. We had to stop and take the pic so we were 5 min late... ooops, it wasn't really a big deal because they plan for kids to arrive for the first 15 min anyway. So mommy got a little teary eyed when I dropped her off, she kinda just stared at the class and didn't know what to do so her teacher Ms Lisa showed her around and then mommy left. She was perfectly fine which I new she would be because all of you that know her know that she is not at all shy! Grant and I picked her up and the first thing she said was they have art smocks and we played with REAL paint..... she was so excited about that. She asks everday am I going to school tomorrow? It's so cute. She loves school and so far hasn't complained that in a class of 14 there are only 4 girls. So begins the madness of having kids in school and programs.

We also started dance class back up this week. She is taking a 45 min combination tap/ballet class and she loves it. There is one other girl in the class that she had class with last year but all the other kids are new. There is a boy in her class that was in her 5 week summer class. Chad of course is having a heyday with that one.... he just isn't for boys that dance... he'll get over it. So here they are learning their tap skills. Rileigh is the one in the black next to the boy on the end.




Next week we begin soccer... I'm not sure what I have gotten myself into, this child has a busier schedule than I do. We have practice for that on Mondays and games on the weekends for the next 5 weeks. So I will post pics of her practice sometime the beginning of the week.
