Jokesters

We didn't really do a whole lot this past weekend. Mommy went to a Journey concert on Wednesday night, and stayed up WAY too late so she had to catch up on her sleep. Saturday Rileigh had her first soccer game and scored 2 goals! She is pretty good when she is not tired. Tonight at practice she was not really into it and was at the back of the pack most of the night but I think she was just too tired to run that much. She really loves school and asks every night "Do I have school tomorrow?" She cracks me up with some of the things she comes up with. She drew a picture of our family at school today but it was only me, her, and Grant and our house. When I asked her where daddy was she said he's locked in the house, and then she started cracking up laughing. She is a big jokester like her daddy! Grant has been pretty good since he is drug around to soccer and dance every week. He was getting a little honery tonight, running on the field a little farther each time.... What am I going to do with him? He is such a mommy's boy. He will cheer for the girls running and then if people see him or notice he will run over and hide in my lap, it is too funny! I think he is enjoying the couple hours that Rileigh is at school that he gets alone with us. It is his time to play alone with us or just hang out without his sister wanting attention too. They are both growing up way too fast!

JOURNEY?! Amee...you are dating yourself! I'm kidding. I would have gone, myself. Did you make sure to wear your mall hair and peg your jeans?
Your kids are growing too fast! Tell them to knock that off!

Agreed- they ARE growing up way too fast! Tell them to stop! :)

I LOVE Journey! I just bought their greatest hits about a month ago. Does that make us (gasp)....old? No, surely not. It was just yesterday we were dancing in cages, right? :)

Not old.... but the girl I went with is 10 years younger than us and didn't know who Journey was.. LOL, it just makes us "older" not old!
